Come explore Western Australia's Wildflower Country

Travel Tips and Notes

Wildflower Locations

We strongly recommend that Visitors wanting information on the best locations of Wildflower displays to contact the local Visitors Centre in each of our towns.

Road Conditions

It is recommended that gravel road conditions are checked prior to travelling during inclement weather.

Note of Caution

The area can be harsh and you are advised to carry ample water and try to let someone know where you intend going, particularly if you wish to explore the less frequented areas.

Fire Warning

You are welcome to have barbecues in our area except between the prohibited burning season, October to March. However, please make sure you check the venue you are at, as some areas prohibit fires at all times (ie: Lake Indoon, nature reserves, national parks, etc). Please extinguish your fire properly before moving on.

Please:

Take nothing but photos and leave nothing but footprints.
